DON COMUE

"The history of a dream...!!!"

Towards end of 2006 a dawn I awoke frightened, contented, surprised and with certain psychic well-being and it was sounding in the head a phrase to me, very common, so daily, that before it had never repaired in paying attention to him.

I rose, was near the A.M. 06,30 and I went away to look for a water glass, which I took not without hardship and being thirsty, simply I took it with pleasure; I seated in a chair to the table of the kitchen and I began myself to laugh and repeated that phrase that still sounded in my head: "You like as she sounds Don Comué...????"




That question came from the smiling mouth of a great friend, Mr. Aquiles Peralta Montoya, an outstanding drummer and composer, who while it showed his head between the Hit Hat, the Snare Drums and the giraffes that held SM57 and Senheisers, it went to me that it was above of the scene stopped next to him, and both we saw the trimmed silhouettes, by the fog effects, varylights and the pair 1000 that colored the show, of other musicians who were in first plane as opposed to a great mass of public who enjoyed to plenary session of the function.

Well, I returned to the bed and to the hour already it had raised to me again, since it waited for a anxious day beside the point to me and with it prewalls it of the near closing of the year.

They spent days and a short whiles it decided to me the phrase: "like as she sounds You Don Comué...!!!???" and returned to smile with affability, until I raised the telephone, I dialed and it took care of Akiles to me and it said to me: "Hello Lizardo was your thinking about, that chance. Several days ago it was going to you to call... ", and next I commented to him briefly of the dream, without deepening details and we were in reuniting to us in a pair of days.

January arrived from 2007 and I went to its house, a long time ago we did not see ourselves and many things had happened from that remembered well-known formation like: "FT - Fabrica Trio "; I told him on luxury of details and it responded to me that there was been dreaming about me and of as much in as much remembered that had to me to call.

Between so many words, loose ideas and things we let speak awhile and to the unisonous one we said "We make DON COMUÉ yes...!!, thus with capital letters DON COMUÉ".

And we put ourselves in campaign, summoned to an old friend in common, with whom we had integrated that "FT" so that position became of the low one, Mr. Tobacco Gomez,that completed Mr. Julio Piazzi in organ hammond, been at the moment in Canada and I in production) and we had left to solve the format: Trio - Quartet - Quinteto.



What yes we knew was that in the musical comedy it was going to be in relation to our personal tastes (of the three until that moment) and were very valid datum points: Yes - Jehtro Tull - Peter Gabriel - Emerson Lake & Palmer - Hoobastank - Ymgwie Malmsteen - Stanley Clarke - Dave Weckl - John Patitucci - Steve Ray Vaughan - David Lebón - Luis Alberto Spinetta - Litto Nebbia - Bonnie Raitt - Robert Jonhson - Pink Floyd - Nina Simone - Jimmy Smith - Uriah Heep - LED Zeppellin - Génesis - Frank Zappa - Kansas - Eagles - Cat Stevens - Tom Petty - George Harrison - and all that cream who stood out in the progressive rock, the symphonic jazz, the blues in its natural state and the crudest symphonic rock, with some options that would arise in the way.

It was not to do covers of these “íconos”, the idea was the one to make a conceptual work, to see and to analyze how they soon did, that they had in common and why those names were in our discos and did not produce any rejection to us to listen to a subject like of Black Sabbath "crazy train", "hocus pocus" of Focus, but late "season in the sun" of Cat Stevens, later "the secret of the life" of Litto Nebbia or "the ring of the Beto captain" of Luis Alberto Spinetta, and if that happened to us safe that in antipodal the individual ones of each one of us we would find that other people could arrive to feel and to enjoy the same things that we like.

We put a warning: "guitarist looks for...!!!!", with very many exigencies, not by the fact of being stars but that we looked for that common denominator and that she started off first of all with the premise: "To be a good person, in fact one obvious Person...!!!", that it had techniques and good taste but we would rescue that first concept the one of the "Human being".

Great guitarists appeared, some still must be waiting for an answer by part ours, but the things were triggered single and we remembered with Akiles and Tobacco the concept of the "Mississippi olds bluesmens" that repeated: "the ways of the mysterious gentleman are...!!", “pucha” and I already believe that yes...!!!!

Had been born DON COMUÉ .....!!!

Soon tests came and in a month and means already they were making debut to full room and leaving public without being able to enter. The 21 made their debut of April from 2007 in the facilities of the Cultural Center Municipal Cordoba Discharge to room really overwhelmed in capacity and one more a press than enviable (cuts of newspapers verify these words). Soon they were recording, later the 30 of June of 2007 made another presentation in the Auditorium of the Center of Communal Participation Nº 4 CPC COLON and has several but in folder.

By "DON COMUE" three musicians marched past and so several do time more, but the primary idea shaped next to AKILES PERALTA MONTOYA and TOBACCO GOMEZ will follow because always there will be a new scene hoping and an arranged person to listen to and with it the dream will be more than fulfilled and really that the reason.

At the moment "DON COMUÉ" is making its way and the way becomes when walking....!!!

*** At the moment, in this 2008, "Don Comue" it is a trio and they integrate it: Mr. Akiles Peralta Montoya in drums, voice, adjustments and musical direction, Mr. Tobacco Gomez in electrical bass, fretless, voice, adjustments and Mr. Richard Pina in piano, syntethizers, voice and adjustments.
